Email marketing has become an essential tool for business ever since the introduction of the Internet to the world, however, some campaigns that make it through to our inboxes are absolute rubbish that we don’t take any notice of. Unfortunately, I did not try Email marketing when I was starting out online, I wish I knew the truth then. An autoresponder is a series of emails, usually focused on a specific topic, delivered in a pre-determined sequence at pre-determined.

But, I personally use Trafficwave, and the reason is that this particular autoresponder has a fixed amount to pay every month, Just $17.95 Per month, so even if your email list is 1 million subscribers is still the same and won't change or increase exponentially like others. For instance, in other autoresponders like Aweber and Getresponse,  as your email list or subscriber base grows, you are certainly going to pay more expensively.

​Growing your email list starts with a great lead Magnet / Sign Up Form – without it it will be very hard to grow your subscriber base online. You will definitely need an email capture form to achieve this. Create an optimized landing page for email subscriptions. To make it a high converting one, you can apply the following tips:

Design it beautifully with contrasting colors and placement.

Include reviews or social proofs to gain trust.

Adorn it with images or insights that will attract attention.

In the above squeeze page or landing Page,  I have connected it with my autoresponder company (Trafficwave), and once users enter their email to get my free ebook or free gift I will capture their emails. Set up is pretty easy as most of these autoresponders companies have tutorials for this.

I share the landing pages everywhere possible, social media (Facebook pages, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, forums, YouTube. By using these platforms I average around 40 - 50 leads daily, at the moment I have grown the list to thousands, precisely 6k plus, as shown below:

As far as I know, once an individual is taking massive action result is assured!. Below is the earning I generated doing email marketing alone. this is not to boast or stuff like that, but to spur some people to take action and see results too.

 

Rules to Follow When Sending out emails

  • Always look for the best offer, for example, you can sell an eBook where you will get a commission, but you would be best to find an offer that has a recurring revenue program built in so you don’t just earn today, you earn for months and years to come.
  • Don’t send to many promotions out, rather follow 80/20 rules, the 80 emails will be tips, tutorial, and strategies that will help them, while 20 email might be promotional emails, I guess your subscribers won't see it as abuse as they know already you really care for them, following this simple strategy alone will make them to trust you and would not mind buying from your affiliate links.
  • Act fast, be the first to promote, so often dozens of the affiliate will email a new promotion on the same day, the first person is more likely to get the most sales.
  • ​And finally, DON’T SPAM!​
